less margin for FNB, watch eBucks benefits get squeezed?
Yip, I'm sure this will filter through in the 01-07-2015 changes

Have one of the following and maintain a monthly balance:
- A Euro or Pound Global Account with a balance of at least 1 000 (R13,030 for 1000 Euros or R17805 for 1000 British Pounds)
- A US Dollar Global Account with a balance of at least 1 500 (R17835 for 1500 USD)
- A Australian Dollar Global Account with a balance of at least 1 600 (R15008 for 1600 AUD)
- A Chinese Renminbi Global Account with a balance of at least 9 000 (R17241 for 9000 Renminbi)
- An Indian Rupee Global Account with a balance of at least 90 000 (R17248 for 90000 Rupee)
I'm thinking the Euro or Auz accounts, they both tick the boxes of affordability and I suppose being first world currencies there is stability. And obviously out of the two, the Auz account has a better interest rate at 2.5% vs 0.15% for the Euro (might as well be zero!).The Rupee has the best interest rate (6% I think). Probably due to biggest rate fluctuations.
My COJ account doesn't seem to be counted as online spend when paying via easypay.
Can someone confirm that theirs is?
My Easypay payments to CoCT goes through as online transactions.
Thanks.. thought so.
Are the private client bankers (not private wealth) better then the premier ones? I've done some calcs and because I'll be hitting my online CC limit it will probably be better for me to upgrade (extra monthly cost vs additional ebucks is about break even).
A better banking team will probably be the clincher for me as personally, due to past experiences, I do not have much faith in the premier ones.
Private clients still falls under the premier team. I personally don't find my banker of benefit to me, I can achieve results far quicker if I action myself. They are email pushers in my opinion, they have no authority to act and rely on the departments within the bank to action a request / feedback. Only benefit in my opinion is the higher rewards threshold. Graphite was the same. If platinum offered the same rewards I'd downgrade in a heartbeat as I don't see any difference in service levels.
What are the fees when transacting to/from the Global Account
From your FNB/RMB cheque account to your Global Account R50
From one Global Account to another Global Account (one currency to another) R50
Own Global Account to own FNB cheque account R50
Own FNB Global account to account abroad R100 SWIFT fee + 0.50% commission
Rather cancel your debit or and pay telkom online using your CC. On platinum you get 4% on RL5

Unless you need the telkom debit order to make 6 to boost your RL points.

Not sure.. I just took a smart device out this month so I'm hoping it does.Does a Smart Device contract count as a debit order?
Yeah you do.. 1-5 gets you 500 ithink and 6 or more gets you 1000.. All onthe website so just dbl check those points. No points for having debit orders? Or is that the 6 you refer to? I think I have about 10 and I don't know what RL is?
