Can somebody remind me please - are scheduled payments seen as debit orders for the benefit of eBucks?
Go to FNB's website and check what the earn criteria for your account is.Hi. I'm currently a student with a smart account at FNB. This month so far I made 3 online purchases at Takealot all under R300 each. But I haven't earned any ebucks. Is there a minimum amount I am supposed to spend before I can earn?
Ebucks are calculated and awarded once a month, around the 9th
They are counted as debit orders currently on Private Wealth, however they aren't counted as debit orders under the new rules
Did your banker confirm this or is it in the rules?
Both.
The old rules mentioned 6 scheduled payments or debit orders, while the new rules only mention debit orders.
My banker confirmed that scheduled payments no longer count
Would seem eBucks are the last to get the memo as usual if RB is correct.

I would like to see the option of been able to transfer ebucks from one account to another like the transfer/payment method. Currently if you want to transfer ebucks you have to call the call centre. Unless I've missed out on something I don't know?
On the eBucks website: My eBucks > Send eBucks
Limited to eB5000 at a time, IIRC.On the eBucks website: My eBucks > Send eBucks

I wasn't sure if they would accept, so last month I went to the payments kiosk inside Checkers and asked. The lady checked some kind of list, and said yes. I then paid a municipality account (electricity) for the full R1k voucher value.
