Okay we are on the same page then.

I'm guessing it's built into Makro's till system where it gets "marked" and the specific items get excluded before being forwarded to FNB.

Much like Discovery's stuff is marked on your till slip when you shop at P&P.

Looks like eBucks links and site just fell over. Must be all you guys checking the whole time on your new status and levels....

I'm back at L5 with 19500 points earned on new rules. Still earning less since buying electricity from FNB no longer counts towards eBucks. Lost 1200 eBucks per month right there....

The percentage you earn via swiping your card are determined on which level you are.

Example, level 5 = 4% back (that is on platinum)

Here you go. Subtract the 2,000 points for my bond and still end up with 22,000 points...

An easy way to score the points for "shop online or swipe internationally" is to use EasyPay to pay your utility bills.
Or you can pay your Telkom bill directly on the Telkom website.
Remember to use your credit card to do these payments (so that it counts towards your "10% to 90%" rule as well as your "100% of your total monthly cards spend" rule)
 
I thought the ebucks run was from the 8th to the 8th of each month. What's happened this month? I made a fairly big payment on my CC this month, and should be getting a fair whack of ebucks :(

Wtf, I am on gold, used to get 20 000 points, this month I got 5500? From level 5 to level 1, done nothing different...

I see I didn't get points for "Have banked with FNB for one year or more"... been a client for many years.
also "Use between 10% and 90% of your credit card limit".... has never been an issue.

Seems like they have messed things up royally. The rules also seem to be completely different.
 
OK so I've been following and reading this thread for a year or longer and need to ask some advice, I am on RL3 with a Gold Cheque account, no credit card. To be honest, I am scared to get a CC, do not want to have extra costs for something I don't really need. Also what is the benefits gold vs platinum vs PC vs PW concerning ebucks? I qualify for both PW &PC but have not upgraded because I don't really see the point? Except if the ebucks will be a lot more? TIA
