I see that I didn't get a 1000 reward points for January for the following below:
Have you registered for inContact, signed up for marketing news from FNB/RMB Private Bank, updated your contact details and chosen to receive your statements electronically only?

Anybody else have the same problem? Nothing was changed for me since 2015.

Updated your contact details in the last 12 months?

Arg, so bummed. Noticed I must not have been thinking and used my cheque card for purchase by mistake ...2000 points docked and down to level 4 :( Feel sorry for me.

As mentioned, I've closed my home loan and lost a number of points taking me. So I need to make up points and was going to do this :

Maintain a monthly balance of at least R10 000 or more in your FNB Private Clients Cheque Account 2000

Now the problem is I've dipped below this and I understand it always needs to be this. So am I right in saying transferring money out of the cheque account (going to the overdraft) for a night or two will earn me this :

Have an Overdraft facility of at least R10 000 and use between 10% and 100% of the facility 2000

dont think so.

have tenants that deposit their rent into my account - no problems yet. Only issue is that they use the teller which charges R50 minimum :( :( :(

My tenant does the same, I just get him to add that extra charge onto the rent amount since he insists on doing it that way. Doesn't affect eBucks no.

Don't people pay via eft these days?

Last time I had to go to the bank was to get proof of my bank account for SARS.

Freakin lost ebucks points for that. Thanks to those that filled us in on how to get around that.

Re: update your contact details at least once in a 12-month period

Guys, this rule is ridiculous... do they expect people to move house / change landline numbers every year? You can't just click Update, they want you to actually change the details. I ended up just changing my home number to my cell number.

Be registered for inContact, update your contact details at least once in a 12-month period via Online Banking, allow FNB to communicate with you by giving them consent to market to you and choose to receive all your statements via email only (1000 points)

Salary update? That's what I do once a year and have never had issues with getting the points

You get increases every year??
Well, the rule mentions contact details and thats not a contact detail... Probably just a case of bad wording i suppose, as you say, it works for you.
