Agreed, I got the SO a linked card a few months back and we've been rolling in eBucks since. They can't fool us!

OK, but bear in mind it is the 2nd worst way**, i.e. not a good way, to spend your eBucks. I would never do this but to each his own.
**[edit] because you lose out on the additional 15% back on Checkers spend (in eBucks on RL5).
No it is actually not so bad.
Groceries is something you need to buy each month. So lets say its constant at R2000/month. So you get 15% back each month that equals R300 worth of eBucks... so you actually spend R1700/month. So if you do that for 4 months you will have R1200 worth of eBucks. So if you buy a 40% voucher with that you get a R2000. Then you use that voucher for that months groceries (which you have to buy anyways) so you don't spend any money that month so you save R2000 - R300 worth of eBucks you "would" have gotten. So you actually get R1700 for the month instead of the R300 worth of eBucks. and that R300 eBucks is only worth R500 if you buy an 40% voucher. So you still score R1500 CASH.

END OF COVER
The Optional Debt Protection Plan cover benefits end when:
The first death or permanent disability claim under the plan has been paid.
If the customer’s credit facility or his/her right to use the credit facility ends or is terminated.
The plan is cancelled for whatever reason.
If premiums are not up to date.
The customer turns 70 years of age.
I opened an OD Facility the other day and I received a phone call from FNB.
Just want to know if any of you guys signed up for this?
No. The plan is not to remain in OD or CC debt. If you die with that type of debt, it should be small and your life cover should sort that out.
Discovery has or had a product like this for their Discoverycard . I paid it for years till I woke up and realized my Life cover would settle it. What a waste
Slightly OT
Does makro still sell the xiaomi phones? Want to get some vouchers and get the mi4.
Will you be able to confirm and does it mean it can be used as normal gift card with balance remaining in the card after spend
So did you get the voucher loaded on a gift card?
Hi
Need to purchase a smart device for ebucks points
Prices are totally out
Anyone purchased anything worthwhile
You don't need to. Don't let eBucks control your spending. It's not worth it.
I'm finding it hard to keep up with eBucks just for the fact that I'm being forced to use Checkers and I fcking hate Checkers...none of the shops decent...none!
We've got two awesome Checkers locally, but there are some things which they don't stock, so I shop primarily at Checkers and just pick up the extras separately. For the eBucks you get, it's worth it.
I wouldn't pick up a device to go up a level though.
I find that Checkers start out nice when they are new, but eventually they all small bad and the people who usually work there just don't give a **** about the shop. The whole experience of shopping at Checkers isn't enjoyable.
I'd much rather go to PnP.
