Checkers is good for groceries. The ebucks you earn for that is great to spend on 40% discount vouchers. Those vouchers in turn should be used on cool stuff you would otherwise probably not afford.

I could be wrong, but i don't think you earn ebucks when you use a voucher. Has been the case for my last three voucher shopping trips at Makro. Only earn is the amount i have to swipe once the voucher is deducted from the total.
x = 100
x = (100 - (x * 0.15) / 0.6)
x = (100 - (x * 0.15) / 0.6)
x = (100 - (x * 0.15) / 0.6)
...
x = 80
Ah, didn't realise that. Yes, from the earn rules that seems to be the case. The end result is still pretty much the same, it ends up between R75 and R82 which is still a big incentive to change behaviour.
LOL. Just making sure that we don't spread incorrect facts. That said I agree, I do most of my monthly shopping at Checkers. It is unfortunately the easiest way to maximize ebucks earn, which in turn gets used on 40% discount vouchers at other shops to buy stuff I would normally have to save up for anyways, and that is for me personally the best way to maximize ebucks as a reward scheme.People can quibble with your figures, but generally you have hit the nail on the head.
Swipe credit card for 2% ebucks earn or online credit card details for 4% ebucks earn.Pop Quizin other words, too lazy to Google
Credit Card or EFT for max eBucks on Platinum?
Agreed, and I think Aessa is overcomplicating things. This statement coming from me, that's a real featLOL. Just making sure that we don't spread incorrect facts. Why should you have taken up PC pre-Oct'14?In the process of moving over to Private Client (should have taken FNB up on their pre OCT14 offer :-(), even though, imo, it is a severely watered down Private Wealth, I will still be in a better NET position than I am currently on Plat. At the moment, Private Client Reward Level 'hoops' are exactly the same as Platinum, I would expect that to change in the future...

How is being on PC vs Platinum leaving you in a better net position?
They are inundated with queries most likely and even if address your query they are unlikely to apply their minds to what it is that you are asking. I waited two days for them to totally misunderstand what it was that I was asking. I then had my premier banker re-submit my query and now it's been 4 working days and no feedback. I'd be surprised if they get back to me this week. eBucks customers service is pathetic.I sent an email to [email protected], [email protected] & [email protected] on the 11 Jan and they all acknowledged the email yesterday. I don't understand how long they can possibly investigate etc. Surely they just need to look up my Credit Card Limit and see what I spend.
The sad trend for my own queries is that they seems to ALWAYS misunderstand, regardless of how specific I am in my queries, and I have begun to wonder if this is not done deliberately. They seemed to understand very clearly after the repeated "misunderstanding" led to a HelloPeter complaint, though ... so you can maybe see where the conspiracy theory comes fromThey are inundated with queries most likely and even if address your query they are unlikely to apply their minds to what it is that you are asking.
