Tips to Boost your eBucks

Yes, based on 1 to 31 Jan. It gets confusing because if you log in from the FNB section, it shows what you got in the last 32 days so it sometimes appears that you earned more than you actually did.

thx.
now the next step - me and excel is to try and sort out the transactions.

strangely the earn rate shows last 32 days, but the totals matches the Earns that was paid into the ebucks acount in Feb :/ - wasnt the case when i checked in January, so maybe they fixed a bug?

Calculations done for January

Checkers earn is strange, and then normal shopping gave me more earn than expected.
Looks like online shopping was capped at 2000 - will have to confirm that(i was still on platinum that month)

Its a pity they dont give us access to detailed earn list per transaction, will make troubleshooting and contending differences so much easier.

Impressed with my Premier banker I've had for the last year. I think she was new at the start but has learnt the ropes by now. She has definitely made my banking life easier the past few months. I suppose part of it is also understanding their limitations (in knowledge) and knowing what to ask them :p

Seems this will be the first month where mine is not correct :(

Ebucks site says my earn was around 15k ,only received half of that.

My bucks and points were allocated but they shortchanged me which kept me at RL3. No debit order points and no points for dipping into 10% overdraft level for about 2 weeks?? Buggers!!

Where do I query this again?

Give it till Monday afternoon. Spoke to someone at Ebucks, and apparently all should reflect by then.

Suppose that's fair. They do always communicate that all will be done by the 8th so will wait and see.

If you had to choose a smart device from FNB at the moment, which one would you take?

Wrong thread?

Nah - it gets you points toward eBucks

Yeah I am looking at getting a few added services. If I get the cheapest smart device the additional ebucks will more than cover the cost of the smart device.

But I recently bought a S5 cash, so don't need a new phone. And I bought the Huawei special from Kalahari so I have a tablet. Don't really need anything at the moment. Or can just get somthing and sell it.

Lets play out this hypothetical scenario:

I'm RL3 now (from Jan calcs) because the feb calcs are not complete yet.
After the 8th when feb calcs are done, I will be on RL5

If I go shop now (today) at checkers.. would I earn 5% or 15% ?

Correcting myself here... you are out of sync in terms of how you view it.

After the 8th of this month you will know what reward level applies to the previous month. So in your case, RL5 will apply to 1-28 Feb. RL3 applies to 1-31 Jan.

You won't know what will apply to March until March is over. E.g. You could go upset the apple cart on 31 March by withdrawing cash from an ATM and then lose a reward level.

So even though the calculator lists your ebucks earned already (up to a certain date).. that info will not be accurate as your level (and percentage) will change?

The calculator is confusing to say the least... I dont bother with it. Have only been checking Fuel rewards manually and it's added up correctly for the most part.
