Tips to Boost your eBucks

You load your credit card into it... then you have 2 options...

1) "old" merchants, where you snap the block widget thingie and then put in how much you need to paay... and hit PAY.
or
2) "new" merchants that have beacons, where while you are in the store it will pick up the merchant and then you put in how much and hit PAY.

The merchant gets notification of the amount paid to them... and you are done. What is nice - is you don't hand over your credit card so i think there is less change of something doing something silly. And - its quick.

My favourite is Zapper... which is similar to the above (option 1), however the picture thingie whatsit is on the tillslip and its linked to that particular transaction. You then use the app to take a pic of it and you alter the tip% and hit Pay... and its all done. I find this much nicer than using my card to pay for the meal and having to deal with a waitron + card machine.

thanks for all the info. My issue is now, I don't want to upgrade to the newest IOS on my iPhone ....

Hey i just opened Zapper now... and i live close to a number of restaurants in Cape Town... and the list has grown a lot since i last looked at it a mmonth ago.

The local Steers is now on the list as "coming soon!"... so i reckon why not earn double ebucks?

If you do a search in zapper for restaurants near you... does it show ANY restaurant near you or only the ones that accept zapper?

Hi guys,

I'm trying to set up a comprehensive spreadsheet for eBucks and need some insight on the rewards.

At partner stores that do not require an eBucks card will the reward level be normal swipe reward rate plus partner store spend reward rate or is it just partner reward rate for the partner store.

For example if I spend a R100 at incredible corruption will the reward rate be a total of 1% or will it be 2% swipe plus 1% incredible connection?

I am applying the 2% for platinum RL 5 swipes.

This question also applies to the online stores such as takealot etc.
 
Latest allocation abused, R2500 makro voucher = 2 LED floodlights and a patio heater :D
 
I have a question which i'm not sure has been asked here. eBucks has reward level points, and eBucks to spend. I'm currently on level 3 with about 13000 eBucks. if i sped all of them tomorrow, will i have to start from level 1, or will i remain on current level3 for next circle?

the ebucks you spend is not related to your reward level. So go ahead spend it.

You will remain on the next level if you maintain the activity which got you to level 3.
Your reward level is not dependent on the rewards you receive our hold.

By classification it's an online card not present transaction. They will need to start redefining the rules.
