I'm actually glad that I had to sign into Wesbank this month.
They have some new, cool functionality - like the payback curve on my vehicles to show when I'll break even on the loan vs car value.
I was okay from day one due to deposit and really good deals on vehicles, but it's nice to see it on a graph and I think it could be a really useful feature for those that are thinking of selling their cars that are still under finance.

I didn't get my points for this, which would of taken me to RL5. Called and logged a query, awaiting feedback
Easy to prove at least. I get both a SMS and E-Mail every time I log in to Wesbank. I would just send proof and ask them to fix. FNB's support for me at least have always been great, may not be instant fast, but they always get it fixed. Unlike some other providers who you have to keep on following up with else they do nada.

"In order to qualify for these points, your WesBank Vehicle Finance must be through WesBank and not a division of WesBank."

I don't remember that always being there?

....

hmm, I don't see that on my account. Do you have add-on products like gap cover insurance or the like?

Interesting to note that they give you the current car value. This info is generally not freely available and varies.

Nope, no add on products.

I have the payback curve on my wesbank profile. Although this is on the Wesbank website, not available when you view it via fnb website.
Yes I do have some of the add-on products.

Ok, contact your premier banker. If you don't know who that is, on your cheque account statement, on the top right hand side, there is a persons name.

Ask her/him for a breakdown of all your accounts, and which accounts has incontact matching email address's.

As I explained a few pages back, I opened 3 accounts this year, 1 out of the 3 was remarkably correct (verified for incontact).

In the mean while, log into FNB, select my bank accounts, menu, then email statements and click on every account, specify an email address and mark the x (for the disclaimer), and update. Do that for EVERY account

My points are allocated looking at the total...but it doesn't show up in the what you got this month breakdown.

Also says I'm on RL3 while I'm sure I should be on RL4...but hte "How I got here" button just results in an error.

Emailed them, so wait and see I guess.

Write CASH on that card so you don't make a mistake.

Good idea, my wife and I accidentally used my second credit card to get cash at the ATM. Neither of us picked up that the screens were different or wondered why I got an SMS until we were in the car. We usually get cash using her Investec card to avoid ebucks penalties.

Or just leave the Cheque Card in the Safe at home and just keep the Credit Card on you.

It's always nice to have it on you, as an emergency backup. I've sometimes had my CC declining due to some weekend maintenance BS, but cheque card worked fine...
