Did any of you guys get 1000 points for :

Have a scheduled transfer/payment of at least R500 into an Investment Account and maintain a minimum monthly balance of R5 000 in the same account

Question related to this ... does a manual transfer count ?

Got a reply:

Kindly note there is an issue currently where scheduled transfer/payments with FNB where data is not pulling through.

Please note you received the points added to the total amount of reward level points for July 2015, however its not reflecting under the reward level points category.

Got 23,000 points but only 22,000 on the breakdown.

I thought that may be my smart device that's "hidden". Guess not.

I've had so much bad luck calling into FNB, I've been trying to enable email as secondary OTP on my account and you have to call in to get it done. Your PW banker isn't allowed to enable it if you ask them.

But their verification system isn't working, it asks for the last 6 digits of your card and even though I do give it all six their system doesn't accept it. So then the helper center person keeps trying to explain me to how to count six digits off my card.

I'm actually very close to moving over to Investec banking from FNB PW, I'm doing a lot more work from my side these days to keep my banking on point.

The verification system worked with my Cheque Card, not my Credit Card. Tried a few times on different calls before trying the Cheque.

It's always nice to have it on you, as an emergency backup. I've sometimes had my CC declining due to some weekend maintenance BS, but cheque card worked fine...
I keep my discoverycard on me as a backup, but if I should cancel it, perhaps a virgin money ccard would be worth getting.

The potential ramifications of using one's FNB cheque card are far too dire. Using that backup could cost you a few hundred rands in value if it caused you to slip to RL4 by using it. The 100% usage on ccard being the one rule impacted, and the other being keeping one's cheque account balance above a certain amount, i.e 10 / 15 / 50k.

Discovery is basically a skinned FNB card... :p

"In order to qualify for these points, your WesBank Vehicle Finance must be through WesBank and not a division of WesBank."

I don't remember that always being there?

What a load of horse.... Prime example of FNB's shirking to minimize our benefits. They still making the lions share of the money.

I have bought a Takealot voucher from the Ebucks shop tonight, any idea how long it take them to send you the voucher?

https://www.ebucks.com/web/shop/productSelected.do?prodId=239580144&catId=227677169

Please note: The e-voucher will be emailed to the email specified. Kindly ensure that the email address is correct on the delivery page. The voucher will be emailed within 2 business days.

You can pay with eBucks on Takealot, so why bother getting a voucher (there's no discount)?

Well Kalahari used to send them after a couple of hours during normal working hours.

But why not spend eB directly on Takealot, unless the voucher is a gift?

Its 2015, this should be an automated system!!

I don't have enough Ebucks for my order and they don't allow mix payments. You have to buy a voucher and then pay with the voucher and CC.
