Ok ... What I tried to explain was, lets say I am on no option, and I pay the normal banking fees how I use it.
Its not impossible, lets say someone has 50 debit orders at R16 each. That is R800 already.
What you are saying is 100% correct, except that I think the old fee saver is a better option than the R199 (bundled option).

9.5% on an investment is optimistic isn't it? Unless of course it is used toward clearing debt.
no 9.5% is actually quite low - you should be looking a 15-25% depending on your risk factor.

Yeah, 9.5% is very conservative and would be what one would save in interest if putting into one's bond, now 9.75% if at prime.

Been using the free fnb connect adsl account for about two weeks now. Was slightly worse than my MWEB account but sufficient for my streaming needs. Until tonight. Ping through the roof. Looks like I will have to phone MWEB and cancel my cancellation... Urgh.

Same story. Why do I use it? My kids like YouTube. And people leave it streaming for hrs at a time. Hopefully it's resolved soon...

Well it is probably complex enough for young kids, as in the absa ad wouldnt understand it, but then again, its also only available on accounts for the working aged people.
I do agree though, ABSA missed the point in why eBucks is awesome.
