LVL 4 again ARGHHH.

Apparently "Do atleast 1x financial transaction on the FNB app" is where I got screwed. I had a friend pay me via the app and i didn't get the points. I can only assume that this only counts for transactions I INITIATE... Can anyone confirm?

I transfer R10 every month via the app from my cheque to cc, I do get the 1000 points - this is the only transaction I perform on the app.

Finished off final bit of Makro shopping this weekend, thank you FNB!

Now to start accumulating again - 'looks a few posts above' - congrats on l5 and also on 'hoarding' a decent amount of eB's :-)

Just transfer R100 from your cheque account to your savings account and transfer it back.

To my mind you can't expect that an app transaction initiated by your friend gives you credit for doing a financial transaction from your account :erm:

A decent 19,000eB this month.
And now Checkers (and Checkers Hyper) have digital 40% discount vouchers.
Very happy.

I have no idea how eBucks work I have the card and am a private client yet I stay on LV5 constantly and get around 500 bucks a month

For me it seems ...
When will the day come where they tell us exactly what was counted in their calculations and we don't have to work it all out for ourselves?

I hear ya.. Their systems MUST be capable of giving us the transaction date as well as the "committed" date. Just wish they could expose that info to us. This month my stuff also look off the total I should have gotten... always just the straight CC spend that's off :(

I have a question on this reward - Is 100% of your total monthly card spend on your FNB Gold Credit Card?

What exactly does total spend include? If you have debits on the cheque account, does that count as spend? Does the transaction you do on the app - say transferring R100 from your cheque account to CC count as spend?

EDIT - based on the calculator I should be able to hit RL5 consistently each month going for a gold account. I'll make the switch this weekend.

Dude, do yourself a favour and checkout the eBucks calculator.

https://www.ebucks.com/web/calculator/rewardsCalculatorAction.do

It will help your tremendously!

On another note, I will be doing all our Christmas shopping this year using eBucks and I bought flight tickets for the SO and myself. Loving it!

Do you have at least three monthly debit orders set up on your FNB Private Clients Cheque Account? That there is the 500 points

100% spend means nothing related to your debit orders. It means when you buy something, use your credit card (as easy as that). Only use your debit card to withdraw cash from checkers or pick and pay.

Thank you.

When I reread the requirement a second time the 'card spend' should have tipped me off the first time. Doh!

So all purchases...use CC. Easy enough.

That also includes your purchases through the e-channels, like airtime and such. The one month I accidentally selected Cheque instead of Credit card to buy R50 airtime, lost those 4000 points :-/ still managed to stay on RL5 though :-D will not make that mistake again

Something's not right then... I always buy airtime from my Cheque account and I still get the points for 100% CC spend.
