That also includes your purchases through the e-channels, like airtime and such. The one month I accidentally selected Cheque instead of Credit card to buy R50 airtime, lost those 4000 points :-/ still managed to stay on RL5 though :-D will not make that mistake again
I buy airtime via e-channels on my cheque card only, otherwise that accrues interest immediately.
Still, I get those 4000 points. So you must have done something else.

I noticed I got charged a fee for using *120*321# to buy airtime ... I thought it was free.
Do you use the app? Website? *120*321#?
And do you get charged for the transaction?

I believe there have always been a charge for it online on the website, though minimal.
Noticed that when I buy with the android app, there is not always a fee, used to have one, but not the last few times.
Only used *120*321# once trying to get takealot voucher, sadly I think there was a fee.

Edit:
See pic no service fee for using the APP. I use this app transaction as my monthly fnb app transaction points.

I got charged double for the eBucks rewards fee end of last month, i.e. R33 instead of R16.50 for November. I was going to double check if they corrected this but i see OB is undergoing maintenance currently. App won't allow login and logging in via the normal website doesn't show more than a week's worth of transactions.

I didn't see any Roadside Assist fee. This is on Premier.

I didn't get the 1000 points for "Do you log in to WesBank Online at least once a month?".

I'm with Toyota Finance which is Wesbank.

Does Platinum/Premier still have Slow Lounge access? All references to it on the FNB site have been removed...

Virtual Voucher - Checkers

How it works:

This is a virtual voucher that will be sent via SMS to your cellphone within 24 hours of placing your order. The SMS should be kept until your voucher has been redeemed.
Vouchers can be redeemed only once.
Vouchers cannot be redeemed at MediRite Pharmacies or at Money Market counters.
No change will be given if the value of the purchase for which the voucher is used is less than the value of the voucher.
Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or for other vouchers of any kind.
Should your virtual voucher be lost or stolen, neither Shoprite & Checkers nor its agents will be liable for any reimbursement of any kind.
Vouchers are valid for a 3-year period from the date of purchase.
Terms and conditions apply.

So this will be difficult to implement properly unless you buy correctly?

Dude, do yourself a favour and checkout the eBucks calculator.

https://www.ebucks.com/web/calculator/rewardsCalculatorAction.do

It will help your tremendously!

On another note, I will be doing all our Christmas shopping this year using eBucks and I bought flight tickets for the SO and myself. Loving it!

Maybe i'm doing something wrong but the calculator shows it easier to get to Lvl 5 on the premier account than on the gold account. Here I was thinking its easier on gold and refused all offers to "upgrade".

Am I right with this line of thinking or is my mind playing tricks on me?

No it doesnt. I buy airtime and electricity every month off the cheque account (via the app) and still ge tthe 100% spend on CC.

This depends.

Premier: Do one transaction on the app per month.
Gold: Login 4 times to the app.

I prefer Premier :p

The thing is, never swipe your debit card for things that you buy .... You can do eft's till you are blue, that isn't seen as debit card spending

When I did it that one time, and I wasn't allocated the points, I queried it with the eBucks team. The response

Please note airtime and electricity purchases must also be made on your Credit card in order to collect 4000 reward points

I am now confused, because paying the credit card fee for "convenience purchases" of R2.20 has been irritating, so I would really like to purchase it with the cheque card instead.

Bought the airtime on the app, using the cheque account. That was the month I did not get the 100% credit card allocation. I'm irritated now, I'm going to try buying it using cheque again
