Tips to Boost your eBucks

Transfer minimum 10% of your OD into cheque, or Savings pocket (so, your account should be -R1000 if your OD is R10 000). This should be done for a period of 24h, excluding weekends.

You are correct in regards to the R35.

So if I still have R5k in my account, I need to transfer R6k (R1k coming out of overdraft)??

What if I have debit orders or transactions coming off in that 24h?
edit: that will also come off overdraft duh...

Sure it has been asked before but I can't find it now.

Does House & Home purchases also qualify for the eBucks rewards?

Wife wants to buy a new base and mattress for the guest bedroom and if purchases there also qualify for the 15% back we would rather spend a few bucks more and get it there.

Thought I would ask in here before I reinvent the wheel.

I need to start maximizing my ebucks earnings... and saw on FNB's website is a ebuck calculator, with a bunch of questions, i.e.:

I'm guessing this would be the best way to make sure you tick all the boxes when trying to get to or stay at RL5? Right?

If yes, has anyone created maybe a spread sheet to keep track of these milestones, that one could tick off during the month, to make sure that all requirements are met?
Just thinking it would be easier in something like a spread sheet than doing it every single time on the website.

I'm not sure what you want to track? Most of things are a habit/mindset change and once you are doing it then you stay on that level.

For example:

Do you perform at least one financial transaction a month using the FNB Banking App?
Do you spend at least R1 000 on your FNB Premier Cheque or Credit Card to shop online or swipe internationally monthly?
- so here i can track my expenditure to make sure it goes over the R1000

or maybe i'm overthinking it...

Habits.
Pay your credit card on payday with the app. There's the transaction taken care of.
Pay your municipal bill using easypay from your credit card. There's your R1000 online spend. Plus, ebucks back on it...

I think you are.

Simply use the App for all your stuff.

To get over R1000 simply guarantee that you do . In my case I pay Rates & Taxes, Telkom and Crystal Web with my card so it's guaranteed every month.

My credit card I've got a small limit, R10,000. So I just transfer cash into it ad hoc so I can use it everywhere as opposed to my cheque card. Is that good enough? Or should I pay it off completely every month?

Good tip on the municipal bill. Currently I pay it online, but it's basically a EFT and not a card payment, will change that for sure.

That's fine. Just do the transfers with the app... :)

Has anyone bought online from Makro for home delivery using vouchers bought with ebucks? Is this possible or must you redeem then in store?

Sinbad has done it. I believe he had to pay in store.

Correct. Place the order and pay in store.
The functionality to use vouchers on the website is coming but not yet available.

Thought I'd have a look if they allow vouchers on the website but couldn't get past the TV license check ;)

Do you miss out on points if you use internet banking instead of using the app?

You get points for doing one app transaction per month.
If you don't use the app once, no points. Other than that, you can use IB.
