FNB offer no/limited tools for us to 'realtime' reconcile - this was available via the cheque account (at a card level - I have multiple cards assigned to primary)
I shudder to think the millions of ZAR that get lost in the system every month...

Struggling to pay my municipal bill with EasyPay.
Says that it doesn't recognise the EasyPay number.

Also, which Telkom link do you guys use to pay your account?

What interest rate more or less does a Gold Cheque Account give for a credit balance? And would a Gold Encore (for Seniors) account's interest rate be different? Was trying to check this for someone I know and I can't find this info anywhere, unless it's me being blind :/

says: All new accounts are opened with Personalised Interest Rates. Save up to R131.20 on a balance of R11238.00 p.a.

So he will have to find out from the bank after they asses his risk.

With regards to the "Maintain a minimum monthly balance", does that money have to be in your Cheque Account or can it be in your Savings Pocket?

Well I tested the FNB Connect 6MB Uncapped account after someone here said they got new capacity and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised that it now works as one would expect simple internet to work. Netflix and Youtube are styling.

So I'm cancelling Crystal Web this month and going to FNB because I can't justify burning R419 a month if I can get it free.

Crystal Web is awesome...but free is even more awesome.

In savings pocket and in an investment account

The speed will not always be great. It has its ups and downs.

As the snake said, a few of us have fallen foul of this particular product. Don't come here and bitch when it is really slow

Yeah I don't expect a miracle. :)

Also I'll have the 6mb on a 4mb line, so maybe there is some leeway to be had there.

Do they offer any information to your usage at all though? Doesn't seem like it.

Been trying to find an answer in this thread but cant, so here goes:

Should I be getting points for having a smart device contract on Private Clients?
I took the device in Dec 2013, and got points until the change last year.

Where can I update marketing consent?

Does anyone know if the FNB LTE/ 3G products qualify for points?
Which LTE product are you referring to? Do you have a link, perhaps?

You don't get reward points for any of the FNB Connect SIM packages, but you do get up to 40% of your spend back in eBucks depending on your level.

Yeah don't expect much. I've been using it full time for more than a month now (also 6mb account on a 4mb line) and it is okayish. Definitely not as stable as my previous paid for account (gave that up completely), but for my needs it is fine. Even been able to stream some cricket in HD without any issues.
