I've been able to buy over R5,000 twice in the last 2 months.
They don't seem to be holding strictly to those limits at the moment

Maybe they are throwing away the R5000 rule because of the new Max discount rule?

Best way would probably be using easypay if they support it.

The bill shows the following as payment options. It's just that on RL5 you earn 3% from online payments and 15% from payments at Checkers. Surely then it makes more sense to pay bills at Checkers Money Market - hence my earlier post - or am I missing something here?

I just tried purchasing a R6000 Makro virtual voucher and was not allowed to due to the R5000 daily limit.

I haven't purchased from Makro before and don't have a card so hoping someone could answer these two questions:
1. Do I need a Makro card or would a virtual voucher be sufficient for purchasing in store?
2. Can multiple vouchers be used to pay for an item? I plan on buying a fridge of +- R15k so would need 3 of these R5k vouchers.

You need a Makro card. Can't buy without it. But you can very easily get one in store before you purchase.

You can stack vouchers without a problem.

1. I would imagine you do but it's a painless process on the day.

Hi StrontiumDog, yes, according to your package, there is a scheduled payment. Think for Premier it is R500.

Done, set for the 27th. Will see if it gives me points next month when they award points for Feb.

I presume he is. It's nothing abnormal, they are supposed to give you the denominations you order. Sometimes they don't due to stock issues.
