It's a gold requirement. Log on 4 times.
As said, Premier requires 1 transaction. Easy to do, I usually do a few transactions a month on the app.

I have been logging onto FNB 4 times per month with my cell app. Just to get the points as listed for doing that. Nothing. Nada. Zip.

Call eBucks and they don't know why and will "escalate it". Nothing happens. They tell me to call FNB and FNB says I must call eBucks.

For what it's worth, Standard Bank quietly seem to have done a basic copy/paste of eBucks. I'm not even kidding you, go check out their online rewards calculator :D

Just had a look - their level 5 rewards are amazing, but getting there is pretty impossible. I did a quick run through the calculator and I'll manage to attain a lofty tier two on their program. #fail

The rewards are going to suck if gold clumped with or has a similar offering to easy accounts. The easy accounts are for low income earners so gold customers will be getting screwed over with rewards.

Look people werent happy with discovery amending the rewards system. If enough people make noise then FNB will have to play nice. I predict a few angry Fnb customers calling 702/cape talk and fnb having to answer about the new system. It seems like they are trying to push as many people as possible on platinum & they dont give a bleep about their bread&butter aka gold customers.
 
I think FNB is trying to give few eBucks to most of their customers and don't like the idea of few customers earning a lot and others don't even earn few so basically they want all customers earn say less than 500 eBucks

This is all speculation till we see the new rules making their debut.
 
I feel like 1 of those Tannies sitting at her favourite slot machine. She had a good run on the machine but the time to cash out is approaching.

I have to split up my purchases of makro vouchers between 2 months and deplete my Ebucks. Gold customers seem to be getting the short end of the stick.

Anyway, I am waiting for the official rules to be published. If the rules suck then I wont be going down without a fight.

I plan on posting the email addresses of relevant 702 & Cape Talk presenters on this forum. They will carry the story if there is enough interest.

Trust me I will be more than happy to phone in and voice my concerns.

I actually think Fnb will be shooting themselves in the foot if gold customers get shafted.

Discovery will be operate as a banking institution in the future.Capitec has scored an opportunity to gain Fnb's gold customers. Capitec all you have to do is copy and paste the CURRENT ebucks system. Swap Checkers for Pick n Pay, swap makro for game and dischem for clicks.

Their(SB) choice of supermarkets are impressive, FNB could learn from it.
Keen to see the changes next week, time will tell...

With that line of thinking you can take it even further.
- Start with a whole ebucks section
Thread a) General eBucks thread
b) Easy/Gold eBucks
c) Premier/Private clients ebucks
and if you really want to, even Private Wealth/RMB can be its own thread

Lol. Well that would make my life easier ;-) but no. My thinking was because FNB is creating segregation within their rewards systems.. Gold and Easy don't really get "ebucks" anymore... It's cash back.
 
So it's my sons 2nd birthday today, and the venue had snapscan... So yes it's an extravagance... But at least it's double ebucks for 3 grand :-) also noticed that snapscan did the verified by visa thing Haven't seen that before.
