I got 9971 :( But then again ... I did not do any grocery shopping or put petrol in for over half of last month.

eB are in. (Premier)

16'000 this time round.

If you don't mind my asking ... how did you manage to get so much?

My credit card bill for May was R41K (half of it Netcells for the new monster) ... and I only got 9961 (granted did not spend a lot at the ebucks partner shops , checkers, etc)

Wife has a CC linked to my account. Both our spending gets used for the calculations then.

We also do all our grocery shopping at Checkers. Try to buy most of our other stuff from Takealot, Dischem and Makro.

Then I also make sure to pay electricity and Telkom via Easypay.

And my CC swipes for last month were quite high because we went on a little holiday to the Drakensberg.

My breakdown this month:

SMART DEVICE 5,000.00
ONLINE CREDIT CARD 4,019.00
CHECKERS&SHOPRITE 3,348.00
TRANSPORT 3,337.00
SHOPPING CREDIT CARD 3,328.00
CREDIT CARD GROCERY 3,052.00
ELECTRICITY 1,950.00
AIRTIME 209.00

Paying my ISP via Snapscan, and my municipal bills via Easypay = awesome.

I missed out on lvl 5 due to not getting full allocation for "Have more card swipes and/or Cash@Till™ withdrawals than ATM/branch withdrawals".

I'm adamant I didn't use an ATM or make a branch transaction and my transaction history under my account seems to confirm this. I've sent them an email, not too happy about it to be honest as it relies on me double checking their stats. If you've had a similar query how long has it taken to get a resolution?

EDIT DOH: Seems the wife used the card at the ATM... ##$^#$#@%#!@%%!^$@#$&

Something has been odd the past 2 months.
Both months I got less than expected ebucks.

Looking at the how I earned, I think some of my swipes or something must now count as online spend, because I spend less than the cap of R5000 on premier online, but somehow both months show I hit that cap. Slightly annoying, and will have to figure out which transactions over the ones I believe should be online, was classified as online :(

Ta for the reply. My Wife also uses a linked CC.

I need to use EasyPay more often and look to moving everything to Checkers exclusively if possible. Some stuff can only be found at woolworths (lactose free stuff)!

I also see a potential problem is with new rules coming in, I need to have at least 4-5 debit orders so I need to find something else to pay via DO. :S

Easypay counts as online. Also using an app to pay at restaurants also counts as online.

Yeah my easypay is usually around R1600, then some other things from Takelot, but all my online shopping was less than R1500, so I expect around R3000 online spend. My regular swiping also seems less than it should be, so I will have to check it out. Restaurants I am lazy, and just pay with card instead of using zapper, still have to set up my zapper.

Mine was about a quarter of that and I got 11000

It's not about overall spend. It's about the high earn partners and channels.
For example on Private Clients:
5% back on online purchases (up to R7,500)
15% back on transport (fuel, uber, gautrain - up to R4,500)
15% back on Checkers/Shoprite
15% back on electricity (up to R1,500)
Only 2.5% back on normal swipes

So the bulk of my eB17k was for those 15% earners
2.5% back on normal swipes

That's an expensive ATM withdrawal fee:)

Bang on!
With the new rules for Gold kicking in, one could spend up to R4k at Checkers and up to R4k on petrol and score up to eB12000 (R1200) just on those combined.

EDIT: My point being, for modest spenders (like myself), the 15% partners are where the real eB are at.

*Sigh*

Wives just don't take the eBucks commitment seriously.
