This is sad though:

When will TiSP be available in Africa? I live in Egypt and i
practically drooled when i read the speeds/prices. Here we pay the
same for "the #2" for a 256 kbits/s DSL connection, so people who read
this should understand why am so eager for TiSP.. I'd really
appreciate if someone would post something about TiSP's availability
in Egypt or Africa in general, even a rumor would do Cheers

I actually thought of this once! Underwater modem noise. It could work over a short distance. Perhaps you and a neighbour....

Actually Telkom offers sh*t ADSL - this is similar but different.

What they have in common is that both Telkom's ADSL and TISP are a joke!
