I generally do not like going into a crazy internet barrage of rage-fuelled posts because someone wronged me, but I need to make an exception with these guys. I thought SADV is as bad as a fibre company could get in SA but it turns out I was very wrong.

Although I cannot comment on TITC's network quality or support because I'm not a client, the way they conduct themselves during installation leaves a lot to be desired.

First, they are "messy". When SADV was installing fibre they really weren't as visible as these guys and also didn't leave their equipment blocking walkways in the complex. I sent photos to the estate manager who talked to them about it and they did clean up, but to just leave wheelbarrows and spools of cables and piping lying everywhere over a weekend is unacceptable.

The worst though, and what pushed me over the edge, was when we came back on Saturday afternoon only to find our internet was off (no service). I phoned SADV (our provider) and they said they could only come have a look on Monday. Monday came and it turns out that when TITC installed the fibre in the downstairs units they just pulled back our cable and basically destroyed our connection. We are the third/fourth unit in the complex to experience this.

I really feel like being petty and invoicing TITC for the three days they left us without internet, the inconvenience caused and the mobile data we needed to buy. It is totally unacceptable for a compnay to behave like this.

So anyway, this is an FYI. When the fibre providers are discussed in your complex and the names of the companies up, hopefully this post will aid you in making an informed opinion.

I personally wouldn't touch them unless they are the only option available no matter how good their network or service is. Their conduct ruined it for me.
