kilo not atacking u but just checking dagga got many different names but one of them is not cocaine and cocaine is a totally different drug

Okay - here is my original quote: There are far greater killers in the world than cocaine (or dagga as it is colloquially called in this country.) Look at the death rates - look at what is a motivator for violence, abuse, and ignorance.

IOW I was/am implying that - there are greater killers in the world than cocaine - or dagga.

Further I'm saying that these things are not killers: it is what you do with them that counts. Everything kills - eventually. Life kills - eventually. And - if there was any sanity on the subject (which there isn't) - then we could discuss these things like free thinking human beings. Except - as always - I get the derogatory snipes, innuendos, and taunts so endemic on this forum.

I advise you all to catch a wakeup - and start paying attention to the world around yourselves - because - based on the majority of comments on this thread - few of you have a clue.

kilo like i said i wasnt atacking you but only asking a question because from what i and many others read you are saying dagga and cocaine is the same drug. But alas drugs dont kill stupidity do :p

What a terrible lie - you get caught up in a factual slip, and try to slither out of it.... par for the course with you. Anyone who reads in English (not in kook) would take this sentence "There are far greater killers in the world than cocaine (or dagga as it is colloquially called in this country.)" to mean you are saying dagga is the colloquial term for cocaine.... but whatever, you are never wrong and we are all out to get you.

a good song for nofx for this thread

Whoops I OD'd, shortness of breath, call ambulance, tell my wife i love her
error in judgement cut my life, no second chance,no guiding light
six minutes down, breathing machine, brain not feel right

Thanks DigitalSoldier; no cocaine and marijuana obviously are not the same drug. And, for clarity - there are millions of drugs in the world. There are many addicted people, many of whom are addicted to prescribed drugs.

Anyone defending cocaine should really examine the severity of the situation and think carefully of what good can come from not taking a hard stand against it. Cocaine is bad and tht's the end of it. Do not try to come to the defense of a drug that doesn't need any defense.
No one has ever said, "Wow, I made a positive difference in the world thanks to cocaine." There are those however who will tell you "Cocaine destroyed my life and everybody else around me"

For anyone to defend cocaine is irresponsible.

Okay - once again for clarity - I am taking a hard stand against misinformation, and disinformation. The hysteria of the crowd. Let's remember the great tragedy this thread is based upon: TK died of a cocaine overdose - based on traces found in her system.

Now - excuse me - the lady was found in a hotel room. A (boy)friend had just left. Then she was dead. Now - from where did the traces come - how come they are only traces - and not evidence of a full-blown overdose. No - to befuddle the issue and the masses - and to cover for their poor police work and evidentiary trail - 'they' come up with the headline...

It is weak - incorrect - totally wrong - especially in 2006 - when we should all have some knowledge as to the true state of affairs around us. So - for a wildcard - if TK died of traces/proven defunct/- then what actually killed her. But no - we'll never know - we'll go with the glitzy headline instead - based on our ignorance, lack of knowledge - or god given right to laziness.

You haven't been paying attention... you can die from the symptoms of coke (i.e. "a heart attack - from too much effort under cocaine"), but not from coke itself. Likewise, you can die from the symptoms of a crash, but not from the crash itself. Crashes don't kill, excessive bleeding does. See?

The troll is out. The headline should have read: TK dies of unknown causes - traces of cocaine found in her system. Did the headline say 'heart attack' - No.

No - smashing into an immovable object at 120k's equals death - no bleeding required.

(ignacio) - Your idiocy knows no bounds.

LOL shame kilo I feel for you, it's obvious that a certain someone is taking a fancy to your threads, or maybe a fancy to you!

Ah, but the official line must not be questioned! The official line is god! All bow down to the official line!!

heehee thanks "love56k", i was wondering :)
i dont want to get into this whole arguement but jeeez kilo,
the whole world is not a malicious beast out to get you. I know what you mean by "not following the hype of the media" but damn man, snap back to reality. unfortunately some things in this world are fact and not just sensationalised bulldust to make us "sheep" happy. Cocaine, and most drugs, not only ruin people's lives but they have also been known to cause death in certain cases.

Although i may be disagreeing with your misguided view, i am not attacking you in any way, and i respect your right to have your own opinion

Cocaine, and most drugs, not only ruin people's lives but they have also been known to cause death in certain cases.
But is this one of them? Based on what I've read, it's doubtful. Kilo is right to question the fact that "trace amounts" caused the death.

Unfortunately some things in this world are fact and not just sensationalised bulldust to make us "sheep" happy.
It's not OK to lie about a drug to stop people using that drug, even if using that drug is a bad thing. Such lies will come back to bite you, and you will lose all credibility regarding your argument against drug usage.

Although i may be disagreeing with your misguided view, i am not attacking you in any way, and i respect your right to have your own opinion
I think you're reading into what he's saying, and inferring stuff that simply isn't justified.

I think these two are being confused

I didnt read the article but thanks for that (above in bold) I think that is clearly a case of poor police work if she died of an overdose she must have used cocaine in the past before so she had to think she's done it before she should be able to handle more cocaine than usual thereby using a more than usual but the article says "traces" of cocaine so I dont know but shouldnt there be more than just a bit of traces in the blood. So if the boyfriend left just a bit earlier and then all of a sudden she is found dead shouldnt there be an investigation on the boyfriend before just claiming it was a cocain overdose
