i did a file server migration over the weekend and came into the office this morning with users complaining they got missing documents when i checked there pc i noticed a crapload of .tmp files i have searched all over the web for answers and have come up empty in this regard what i noticed as well is these .tmp files show up in folders that have not even being transferred to the new server users are using a mixture of office 2010 and 2007 and it seems to be on win7 users that are affected counted total of 4/15 users having this problem if anyone can shed some light on a solution to this would really help me
