I use to be a raider and im gettin the bug again - Moved to SA ( internet is bad compare to teh world) Now i need to know whats a good combo to get about 300 ms ADSL packet .. I stay in Richards bay

if u want 300ms and stable,u need a 4mb line atleast or an lower speed unshaped account

I've just ordered a 512mb line and set up on Axxess unshaped account which all goes live tomorrow. I'll post the results of latency etc..

Im using axxes semi and unshaped too, with unshaped i get about 450-550 ish 4meg line though, and semi shaped is IS and get about the same latency there.
One that works well is the verizon service from web africa sadly also the most expensive, generally had 280-350 on that

You don't really need a 4meg line. I was getting between 260 - 350 on a 384Kbps unshaped line. Don't forget to do your TcpAckFrequency edit. If it still needs to be done, haven't played in a while, so it might not be necessary anymore.

I found the TcpAckFrequency edit made it more difficult to login to WoW when I'm in Dalaran on my 384kbps. Since I switched it back to normal my login rarely disconnects anymore. However, 600-900ms isn't an issue for me at the moment. Might try unshaped to see what the difference is...

Personally I would go for a 512 over a 384 purely from dc issues i used to recieve in 25 mans on the 384. Upped to 512 and they went away

384 with Semi shaped,350ms raiding - and yes I raid 5 days a week

We are sitting on a 512mb line, unshaped with Webafrica. We are 2 people using the line playing WOW, but we get about 380-450, but struggling to do 25man raids at the same time, keep getting DC'ed on boss fights.
