Getting my uncapped 384 saol up and running - hopefully this weekend.

Is it worth signing up with rapidshare, they seem to have everything and are cheaper than news servers?
Reliability of files?
I have a paypal account in the UK that I want to use to pay for the service.

what do you guys think?
SAOL don't block rapidshare etc ?

Will give it bash - I always thought hacks like that don't last very long, until rapidshare find out that people are going bossies?

I use rapidshare and have no problems R600 odd a year is well worth it

Yeah you are probably right. But when it does stop working you can always get a premium account. RS are sometimes forced to delete copyrighted material but it is usually just a matter of time before another link pops up.

Rapidshare has the largest amount of downloadable content on the net but their only problem for me is the daily 5GB limit on downloads.There are other file hosting sites that have no limits but they don't have the same volume of content but there are work arounds on them to get premium accounts for free.

i've been using rapidshare for about 6 months now, and i have to say i love it, almost everything you could possibly want. My only issue is that i don't have enough bandwith :o)

saol.com does not limit p2p traffic. So I would suggest the following.

Try getting a bitsoup.org or torrentleech.org account. Rather pay for a cheap starter seedbox and do the p2p thing. It would be better. Rapidshare and download managers is just a disaster. Sometimes you get a 13kb file cause the download manager doesn't log in correctly ect ect.

rapidshare + fdm = win

netload + orbit = win

torrents = fail

seedboxes = doublecost

surely it's a lot more than 5GB a day - more like 50GB or something...

I'm on 384 line so 5gb a day is fine for now - megaupload is also very fast, I'm liking megashares, download a single large file and sub are cheap - limit is 1gb for free users.

Rapidshare is the best. You'll never waste time on torrents again. Well worth the money - there's so much stuff on there.

Lots of sites that index rapidshare files - I suggest you use one of them to find what you're looking for.

Torrents sucks - you're forever missing 1 part or waiting for someone to go online, not to mention they don't have even 1% of what is on the rapidshare index.

You can trust us on this one, never looked back

What about megaupload?

I personally use megaupload because they don't have a daily bandwidth limit

It's 5GB a day but they do have a happy hours where they give you 10 times the usage but it sucks for us as it starts about 3 in the morning and ends at about midday but isn't too practical for a uncapped after hour account.

Megaupload is great and there is a sort of cheat where a whole group of users all upload a very small 1-2KB thank you text file, that everyone on the list downloads every day to give each other points. Some of the lists are so big you can do it for a couple of weeks and you accumulate enough points for a premium account for a year.

I Googled Netload to see what it is. There are many Netloads. Which one are you referring to. por favor?

I've been using http://www.filedownloader.net/ for a little while now. You have to use their download manager but you can download from Rapidshare, Easy-Share, Depositfiles, Megaupload and a few others. I have no problem maxing my 4Mb line downloading through them. Pricing is not too bad at $10 for 21GB as well.
