I sent a PM to the both of you on May 21st regarding my issues with MTN. Neither of you have bothered to offer a response - not even a cursory apology for not being able to help.
I take personal offense thanks to your (lack of) action. You actively participate on the forum, while blatantly ignoring the plight of your fellow forumites. Yes, you've both helped many in the past, but I see complete and utter disinterest from your side with regards to the current flood of complaints against MTN.
Over and above the fact that you work for a company who chooses to stay silent regarding the complete mess their billing system is in, I would like to inform you that you are also associated with a company who blatantly steals from its customers.
I upgraded my contract around April & subsequently canceled the upgrade a few days later, returning the phone. Tomorrow the 3rd invoice will finalise where MTN charge me a R200 'promo' fee for a phone I GAVE BACK.
Thank @$% my contract with MTN is up - I'll happily take the opportunity to take my business elsewhere. Tomorrow I will cancel my debit order, have the last one reversed and from there I will audit my own account & pay MTN what I see as fair. If they want the rest, they can sue me...
