I'd hazard the arrows are probably predominantly found on cars specifically adapted for the US market. :twisted:

I always knew it as German cars tanks on the right of the driver, crap cars have it on the left.
F50 on both sides.

Some cars don’t have the arrow but you can still determine which side the filler cap by looking at which side the picture of the pump is facing - whichever side has the fuel pipe nozzle thingy is the side your filler cap is on 9 times out of 10.

90% of the time, every time.
