I have been using NordVPN for about 2 years. During the last 6 months or so many sites are blocking me. Google in particular 'knows' that i am hiding my IPA.
I contacted Nord about this, but they have no solution to the problem.
As soon as i kill the VPN the download or search initiates.
And as i say this is increasing. It would seem that many websites are doscovering that you really are not who you claim to be in disguise.
So are VPNs coming to an end?

Use Duck Duck Go.
Google does not like VPN's you have to constantly fill in that most irritating Captcha.

Use Firefox as browser, there are settings in FF for more privacy and use of VPN

I have been a Firefox user for at least 12 years and i occasionally use DuckDuckGo, but find that their algorithms are not quite as powerful as Google - Wow! never thought i'd say that.
But that said thanks for your feedback, at least i am not alone.

For those searches just use the !s bang (enter it after your search query) it'll search with startpage that uses Google's search results.

As much as VPN is used to protect your privacy spammers also use them. Since a VPN has a shared IP that reputation of the IP is very bad and you end up with issues where the IP gets blocked or you need to fill in captchas

Thanks for the headsup on that; makes a lot of sense.
Now if we can only get Afrihost to join with the other ISPs to get Vumatel to reduce theri connestion fee.

Still waiting for ISP responses to the contradictory new spying laws.....

At some point I might need to get a VPN and kick a lot of entitled family members off of downloads depending on the responses..... and start paying my ISP less for a slower line so I can afford the VPN.

@AfriNatic
If things go badly for us consumers this is a golden oppertunity to add a value added VPN addon to your addon range.
