Too good to be true? Uncapped LTE

I contacted a company called Droidworx who told me I have to come to a meeting before purchasing the product. So that's not happening.

That is the most stupidly funny thing I have heard in quite a while. Is the meeting mandatory before you can purchase the product?

Oh freaking crap. I have ordered and paid. Waiting for it to be delivered. Will update once received and hopefully I do.

Same here ha ha. Been hammering them with questions on facebook. Getting good answers. So i took a chance. Let the wait begin.

Checked HelloPeter. Thus far,
2 5-star reviews from users who have no other postings on HP.
1 1-star review from user with one other (unrelated) review - image attached.Screenshot_2019-07-01-12-38-06-453_com.android.chrome.png

Yeah same here! They are very responsive on social media and it seems that lots of people have been interested. I know at least 5 people that ordered last week.

Stop it already!
We see through what's going on here

What do you mean? Are you referring to them as being a scam? I was merely pointing out that I know a few people that have already paid for it. I am in no way promoting this until I have seen for myself that it is legitimate.

Well, we can only just wait and see if it works or not. Pretty bad delivery times 7 to 14 days and only on day 4 now and no option for faster postage/courier.

It's not legit. You have parted with money and won't see it again. At best you'll receive a sim with some prepaid airtime on it.
What quicker way to make money than to bill people R1800 and supplying a sim with R500 prepaid data on it.
The delay in supplying the sim is to buy them time before recycling their facebook page.

As you can see, the only "person" reporting anything good on this thread has gone awol after two messages. I asked admins to ban them but it seems they feel there's no grounds.

@Newsfeed @Jamie McKane can you guys spend some of RPM's cash and buy one of these and report back after using it so that forumites don't get scammed any more?
Do you know what. I took a chance. If it works then its awesome.if it doesnt work then that 800 that i paid i would have spend it on other shoot that i really dont need and ended up at square one again. So it doesnt matter if i bought R800 worth of junkfood to get fat or i paid R800 in hopes for an awesome deal, i had money to spare. If it doesnt work, so be it, and i'll give feedback. If it works then i'll also give feedback. And for that hello peter complaint, the website clearly states that delivery is between 7-14days not 3-7 as per review. So whats cooking there then. well yea it was my money so lets wait and see.

I can just imagine how people reacted when rain launched with their lte uncapped deal..

It was a legit company from the get-go. The company previous ran the iBurst network and then moved into cellular tech under the Rain brand.

What is techglobal's history?

They might not have a wireless network history. But from the look of their webpage they look like a IT company. Maybe they are a known brand in bloemfontein, maybe not. lets bash them when we have the facts that its a scam. Maybe it is really a company trying their luck in the lte market? Who knows. Lets wait and see. Yea?

Well said. I feel the same. It's not R1800 it's only R800. If it's a scam oh well I tried. If not at least I have a solution to not having any internet whatsoever.

That was the point of our posts. To let everyone know we ordered and we will post feedback once received then everyone can decide for themselves.

Don't worry, I also spend crap loads more on junk food and snacks every month.

Logically if they are a legit company why would they require a lead time of minimum 7 days and up to 14 days to deliver a sim card?

A sim card, which just about anyone in Sa can have delivered to just about any location in Sa overnight/the very next day for R99.

Of course, if you're willing to part with R800. Though you realise that you're giving these scamsters a reason to stop looking for legit work and keep taking people's money including those who can't afford to throw it away.

I personally have better things to spend my money on than flush R800 down the drain and waste a lot of time chase after scammers. Also knowing scammers they love stalling and drawing it out, so an extra large helping of time wasting is heading the way of the people who bought these "deals".
