Too good to be true? Uncapped LTE

Since when does Axxess sell "uncapped" lte products? Visit their website on www.axxess.co.za.

The speedtest result posted clearly indicates the isp as "Axxess Networks"....
I dont know what agreement tech global has with axxess, but thats what i get when i do a speed test, maybe they can explain how this network thing works, for me it works fine so not really worried what network they use.

That is 100% correct, we will be dropping delivery time from 31 July to 3-5 Business Days (The 5 Is just to cover outlying areas)
You haven't answered the question.

Why do the SIMs take so long to be delivered to new customers?

Let me put it this way...Axxess does not even provide uncapped LTE to their resellers...so "Tech Global" is getting you to pay for capped data. These types of scammers hope that you do not use all of the cap. Similar to a ponzi scheme, like someone else mentioned earlier.

In short you are being scammed.

As mrlgm007 suggested, please do a trace route and post the results.

Hi Everyone

Thank you for all the posts about us

Just want to set the record straight on the below

Roy paid R788 for a SIM Card, activation and delivery the balance of the R1800 was a router supplied by one of our resellers, he was refunded in full as per his Hello Peter update posts

I can confirm that @Smith3366 & @SpliceGold is active clients with us
@DANNLER Should be receiving your SIM Soon

As for the scam posts, this is ultimately an opinion not based on facts, as most of you know a scam is something you pay that you never receive service and they end up disappearing with your money

We are well known in Bloemfontein and have been an IT Company active for just under 10 Years, our client basis and previous company name can be requested from us should anyone require this

1. What was your previous company name?
2. Looks like you are a reseller for Axxess?
3. Why did the sim card took so long to reach your "customers"?

Been using it for over a week now. Their internet speeds is way more faster and stable compared to rain. There customer care compare to Rain is world class. They assisted me to change my NAT to open on my Xbox if you ask Rain they have no idea what you talking about. But ever since Saturday morning I have no coverage I logged a query with their support which escalated it to there first line of support was informed due to it being weekend there is a possibility it will only be resolved in the new week. Will keep you guys posted
So was it resolved?

No. You are not. ;) I have never heard of you, neither have any of the many people I know, that I have asked.

I was at my sister house last night and the sim does work. I do not work for Tech Global and I am not affiliated with them in anyway.

Point is that it works. If you have no intention of purchasing it and trying it out for yourself why complain on a public forum?

Im glad it works for your sister.

Regarding your question, it's a valid concern.
As others have pointed out,in a Ponzi scheme,it always pays out until it doesn't.

People are welcomed to spend their money anyway they see fit, however I'd feel really bad actively encouraging something that just screams scam from all angles.

The one post wonders don't help this thread either.

In conclusion it seems to be some sort of reseller agreement with axxess, most likely a set cap limit that you'll only find out about if you monitor all data usage. If your sister is happy with that then so be it

So the sim works. However it is not uncapped. As can be seen from the speedtest result posted earlier, Tech Global are getting the sim cards from Axxess.

Axxess do not have (and never had) an uncapped LTE offering, however they do offer capped MTN and Cell C services. They allow resellers to register as Rica agents through them, in order to resell and provision mobile services. All the products you can find on www.axxess.co.za are the same products available to resellers, only at a discounted rate.

This is a scheme where Tech Global assume that most users will never reach the cap. When your internet suddenly comes to a grinding hold and you contact their "support", they simply load a top-up.

Take a step back and think for a minute. If the so-called LTE "uncapped" service from Tech Global was truly uncapped, why haven't anyone heard about them before? Why no marketing on MyBroadBand?

Because it's a sham.

I think my broadband should do a review, then we can see once and for all how everything works.

That may explain the long lead time for sims, they probably have to do all the Admin and ordering of sims first via Axxess, then reship them to customer once they receive them. Probably also are stingy on stock so are essentially drop shipping Axxess's offering.
