Too good to be true? Uncapped LTE

So was it resolved?
To be honest. It appears as if they only load 100gig on the sim and it resets on the 1st of the month. My Sim stopped working again last night will follow up with them today to find out what's going on

So the sim works. However it is not uncapped. As can be seen from the speedtest result posted earlier, Tech Global are getting the sim cards from Axxess.

Axxess do not have (and never had) an uncapped LTE offering, however they do offer capped MTN and Cell C services. They allow resellers to register as Rica agents through them, in order to resell and provision mobile services. All the products you can find on www.axxess.co.za are the same products available to resellers, only at a discounted rate.

This is a scheme where Tech Global assume that most users will never reach the cap. When your internet suddenly comes to a grinding hold and you contact their "support", they simply load a top-up.

Take a step back and think for a minute. If the so-called LTE "uncapped" service from Tech Global was truly uncapped, why haven't anyone heard about them before? Why no marketing on MyBroadBand?
That may explain the long lead time for sims, they probably have to do all the Admin and ordering of sims first via Axxess, then reship them to customer once they receive them. Probably also are stingy on stock so are essentially drop shipping Axxess's offering.

You know what everyone is going to say about your comment. My sister and I both do not have coverage in our area. The only thing that works is MTN that is it. No cell c, No vodacom, No Telkom, No fiber, no adsl etc..

If it works for us for even just a little bit until Fiber can be installed or there is network coverage in our area I do not see why we should not use them! If it is capped well who cares! Main thing is I will have internet of which I have not had since April due to Telkom removing the copper cables with no eta when fiber will be installed. We have too many trees blocking line of sight to any towers like ASAP and Mitsol so that is not an option. The only thing is MTN which is way too expensive or real satellite internet which to install cost over R5k and monthly for not 50gigs is over R2500.

So everyone can complain and moan that it is a ponzi scheme or scam but we will still use it until other internet is available or when it stops working. For me I will get my moneys worth. If it is capped, I doubt I will use over 80gigs anyways. So for me the price is fine and its month to month so it is not a binding contract.

To be fair, if they are just reselling Axxess 100gb capped MTN LTE accounts as "uncapped" for R599, its still a bargain.
The issue is whether these new forum members are actually telling the truth or just TechGlobal employees trying to get more victims to scam.
Their uncapped LTE off-peak looks like they're just reselling rain uncapped at a much higher price:

I personally do not work for Tech Global. Nor am I affiliated with them in any way whatsoever. My sister received her sim and it works! She has already used at least 90gig since she had it so we will wait and see. When I get my sim which will be today I will judge it for myself. Point is it works in an area that I cannot get any LTE. So I don't really care what others are saying about it being a Ponzi and scam.

That was on their Facebook page this morning. I'm back online now again. Will let you guys know if I experience any problems again

Hold up.
It's Cell C now?
That makes more sense, 100GB Cell C package is R530, cheaper than Tech Global.
So it looks like they're reselling Cell C's 100gb for R599 hoping no one tries to go over 100gb and Rain off-peak uncapped for R389.

how they explained it to me was that the unlimmited offpeak is cell c. And the full uncapped is mtn. Thats why there is two different delivery times om the deals

I can confirm that cell c data was down. I could not connect to anything and I had data. Could only make phone calls. Lasted about 2hours. I could even get onto my internet banking. I was not at home I was at work. Cell c has bad coverage where I live.

There would be a lot less scepticism if @techglobal just came out and explained their business model. Legitimate businesses have nothing to hide, why are these guys so shady?

Where do they get their mobile access (they obviously don't have their own network)? Who do they have wholesale agreements with to resell their products? And so forth

So many post yet they did not post a screenshot and THE ONLY people backing them is new accounts. Scam....

I can guarantee you I'm not affiliated with Tech Global. My sister sim card does work. She has been streaming and has used quite a fair amount of data already.
