So you don't think playing for relegation strugglers Wigan is slightly different than playing for United. I think the point Fish is making is that the lad has started 2 competative games for United and although he has made a good start is he still has a lot to prove ie unproven at that level.

You do not think surviving a relegation battle is not tough psychologically? One of his 3 goals pulled Wigan out of the drop and they would not return to the bottom 3 again. He was seen as a star of their season. If he was so overrated why did Wigan's manager plead with Fergie to let him stay for one more season? Uh, lemme guess, Martinez is another manager that knows nothing about football?

You can't use newspapers as a credible source, especially english papers, that's just stupid. Of course Fergie is going to be excited by them he's the manager.

You do know Fergie will be expected to compete for 3 major titles this season? If he is willing to show faith in these guys, he believes they will be good. Fergie is not the man that will sit back and say ''okay, we won last season, so we can bugger around this season''. He is going to compete and he has shown his willingness to put faith in his crop of youngsters. Like I also said, he let go of 3 veteran players, 2 of which were still able to offer something.

It seems to me like you rather read these "newspapers" and believe their propaganda instead of their performances over a period of time. English press tend to over hype and throw praises to any player that is born English.
Playing for Wigan does not make you the best player since slice bread, time will tell - what I'm trying to say is don't jump the gun like a lot of United fans I've seen (act like Harold Camping)

That and the fact that I have watched a Community Shield game, 3 Premier League games and 2 competitive English internationals involving these players I am so over-excited about. Do you recall those youngsters coming on in the second-half and inspiring a comeback victory in the Community Shield? Ah, but City were fielding a whole bunch of new players, so that does not really count.
