My only gripe is them actors getting old in films. Reminds me that I'm also getting older.

Like Dolph Lundgren, dude was this bad ass villain in most films. Now he is 64. Pretty sure my weak ass can fight him and win.

Done & dusted. It absolutely lives up to the incredible hype! A sequel that knocks it out the park in every metric & is arguably better than the OG film. An exhilarating adrenaline filled ride, tons of fan service & callbacks to the original. An epic blockbuster, Cruise flies high. Must watch.

An easy 8/10 from me.

Rewatched it at home in the AM (non-4K).

My opinion has not diminished at all.

It's a class act & easily top 3 of my best films of the year (easily).

Not afraid to say still on a 2nd watch one gets (very) teary eyed at the end.

Dude is an absolute legend when it comes to stunts and planes. Remember the scene from MI: Rogue Nation when he was on the outside of an Airbus A400M. He did the stunt himself.

There is no humanly possible way for any person to hang on to an airplane that big taking off. Even on a car's roof at 120km/h, you can barely hold on and will fall within a matter of seconds at that speed.

Did you forget about the Aghanistan evacuation where people were hanging onto the C-17s as they took off? They managed to hold on for quite some time without any straps until falling to their deaths. So definitely possible on an A400M with straps.

Still did not happen. At the speeds required for takeoff, he would not have been able to breath at all. You struggle with breathing on a cars' roof at 120km/h. Turbulence would have had him flapping all around and against the plane as well. They are fooling people.
