Top Tv channel pixelization

Also noticed this on my side, noticed it on Fox Retro as well.
Slightly unrelated, I have also noticed that the TopTV decoder blocks recording when using the AV connection. Records fine on RF

My Fox FX channel is also very pixalated but saw as soon as the picture is not moving much it looks better... Recording om MCE I've found that I could not record on RF cable but I'm still trying to setup my MCE that I can try the AV cable.

Lipsync on all channels for me. Thought it was the tv tuner but it seems iam not the only one.

Yeah,

Also experiencing bad pixellation on Fox FX and Retro (mostly on Fox FX though) - though only when stuff gets hectic on screen (as in action sequences) - which basically means all the time...!!
Also, my Fox FX, Fox Retro and Fox Entertainment channels' TV Guide is completely wacked! The shows that they advertise does show, just not when the TV guide says. Anyone else experiencing this!? I've done some searches but cant find anyone else with this TV Guide problem.

I played around with my dish settings yesterday, thought the combination of pixellation and tv guide issue could be because of wrong dish settings or something... But there really are only so many settings, and I tried all of them to no avail.

I know TopTV have only been live a week, but this is a major issue.

Noticed that too. My Signal Strength is only 60%. Is that ok?

One of the TopTV consultants phoned me back this morning. Told them that my system was now activated. I mentioned the schedule problem to them, and they said that they would gety technical to look at it. So far I have noticed that the program seems to be about 2 hours behind the schedule.

Has anyone changed the audio output to "dolby" on their decoders?I changed mine and now it will not change back to PCM no matter what I do.Its not causing any problems just wanna know if anyone else experienced this.

So far all the channels are good quality - I can only imagine it's an isolated problem. Also haven't seen any lipsync or whiting issues.

Using a 120cm dish with pretty much absolute standard RCA cables.

Sucks man guys, sorry I can't be more helpful.

Yeah I've been having the same problems. But sometimes it so pixelated you can barely even see what the hell is going in the show. Fox Retro has a small amount of pixelation but at least you can still watch it FX is mostly pixelated all the time. And my FX and Retro TV guides are screwed as well...

Hi the white issue is on FLN and you dont see it all the time you will notice it when they show a design black on white paper before the color is added to the design. Saw on friends tv as well as mine

How can it be an isolated problem when a lot of people are replying with the same problem. and you cant tell me it is my cables when I K@k & betaal for quality cables and my Tv is a Samsung UA32B6000 32" LED TV.

My tv has an auto upscale or upscale off when on auto the picture is better but still not as clear as the rest of the channels when off it is like watching a movie on my cellphone.

I have just finnished watching Simpson it is not just a white issue ,here let me try to explain what is happening

I have enabled my PIP (picture in picture) so I can see 7de laan on dstv and 7de laan on TTV split view

On the left dstv everything looks normal and on the right Top tv you see the studio lighting reflecting off there heads and it changes all the time

So it looks like toptv has an auto colour, brightest and contrast adjusting all the time

like on the Simpson's Bart is yellow than all of a sudden he is a very light yellow and then he is normal again.

I have tried my old 72cm samsung and it is the same it is not a big problem but does get irritating at times.

Here is an example what I am seeing does not matter what tv I watch on

Ok Fox FX is now clear or it can just be certain content that has pixel problem unless they have fixed it will see during the next 24hours

I checked the channel just after 00:00, it looked okay-ish...
could still see some pixellation, but it did look better... Although, "Most haunted" is also not a very action orientated show :P so there weren't many quick camera movements or action scenes to properly see if it was better.
This, and the TV guide scheduling discrepancies as mentioned on the FOX channels really kills it for me... seeing as these channels has some of the best entertainment shows on...

I see this seems to have been sorted.I havent has any pixelisation since monday on the channels and also the EPG seems to be in synch now

Indeed yes - it seems they are actually actively fixing the issues :)

The things I noticed they fixed since the beginning of this week:
*Pixellation/quality on some channels (mostly Fox) has been removed / drastically reduced
*EPG schedule has been synced
*Some channels that previously had no EPG info have now received a program schedule
*Most program age ratings has been updated on EPG (eg. PG13, 16, 18, etc)

Still existing issues:
*Get quite a few blackout moments on various channels - where the image just blacks out for a second or 2 and then comes back again.
*There are still a few channels with no program schedule on the EPG (FuelTV, CurrentTV, etc)
*Every 'z' character on the EPG is replaced by a ' (apostrophe) - as in : "The mask of 'orro" for example.
*The program descriptions needs to show more critical information eg. movie year, genre, actors, series episode number, etc
*Still need to start showing some new movies / series as currently there are a lot of 'old' content - and i'm not referring to FoxRetro ;)
*Some minor ease of use issues with the decoder interface

But yes, I am quite happy with TopTV

Finally I noticed new updates have been pushed to the decoder - My Audio sync was around 60ms and today when I came back I noticed it at 20seconds and lipsync has been sorted out.

Also noticed on TopOne around 5PM it was saying "This channel resumes at 15:30"
