Top websites in SA (October 2013)

Although, Alexa's stats seems more accurate when looking at SA's top sites.
 
Wonderful to see MyBroadband continuing to do well.

Yep, DMMA stats are BS.

Although Alexa still falls short, they are probably the best and most accurate to determine local traffic to Internet websites here and abroad. It's just great that MyBB started adding Alexa as well.

DMMA, no matter what measuring they are using, only display the stats for a few companies contributing financially. They leave out all other websites, so, basically their stats is totally flawed.
 
I recently used the Alexa statistics together with Wappalizer to detect and rank CMS sites in South Africa:

Joomal: http://top-websites.burtronix.co.za/joomla/south-africa/2013-09-02
Wordpress: http://top-websites.burtronix.co.za/wordpress/south-africa/2013-09-02

My ranking also limits to the ccTLD .za, so it's got more of a local flavor.

Over a few months I covered most other countries with a rather large internet-using population.
