Heh. Effective marketing.Hey, you know what they say - any kind of publicity is good publicity. GL with the recruiting thing, ICC certainly is bringing out the epeen measuring tape again. ;P
 
people probably just pissed cause they applied and got declined.. due to lack of skill or lack of understanding thus they come to this post and flame it thinking they cool guys..

FOA is awesome there are the exeptional ppl in foa that think they better than everyone else but other than that the guild is great

That can be said to any guild, u get your odd ones out :) Hows Blood queen going for you guys? had 13 attempts obn her last night, she is a pain in the butt. i suggest you get pvp trinkets sorted amongst you guys as wea re doing now for the fear she casts allowing people to be spread. best attempt 26 % so far

Not if the name is directly related to another work that is copyrighted. For example, I would be forced into a name change if I called my char Frodo and that name is probably blocked anyway.
 
FOA: 25 man raiding guild (GMT+2) is currently recruiting, all DPS classes. Exceptional healer applications will be considered. Having strong offspecs will count in your favour. ICC25 (8/12), ICC10 (11/12). Only well-geared, experienced raiders apply.
We raid from 19:30 to 23:00 South African time and will be starting 10 man Hard Modes soon.

ah man, i would love to apply :s unfortunately I cant afford the realm change cost. i know my kittay back to front, and can on occasion (more often lately) push out 10k dps. and with a bear spec that is 53k hp buffed in hcs.... /sigh. fck the SA economy
 
I can level up a DK quick on Laughing Skull ... should take a week or 3 :P

Blood DPS preferred, dumping RP into the 51 point talent.

Oh yeah not raid ready , bummer.... but if you want a "class to order" I'd be happy to level one up to join a local guild.

BE DK named Malema.... lol

You guys need gold? I have tons of gold on LS.. R60 per 1000 gold. Gimme a shout if you need. I used to sell to some dudes in MD that have transferred to your guild, they will vouch for me. Although back then I charged R100 per 1000 gold.
 
Even that price is expensive... you can get 40k gold for around R1500
 
Gold buyers and sellers are retarded. There would have been less hacking if it wasn't for the gold trade.
 
Yeah its annoying, anyways, with the dailies you make tons of gold fast.
 
Update: We need pretty much all classes for our core raiding team, except elemental shaman. Melee classes with tank offspecs will be handy, aswell as a balance/feral with a healing offspec. Looking for people with previous Hard Mode experience (TOGC10/25, Ulduar, etc.)
Pretty much any class, as long as you have the skill.
 
Just curious, but do you find the SA-> EU latency problematic for hard modes ?
 
We've only done 10 man Ulduar and togc hard modes but the lat doesn't really bother us more than any other night. I guess after a few years of raiding at 200-300 lat you kinda get used to it.
 
There's a difference between 10 mans and 25 mans in how it impacts SA lines. Its not about latency so much as disconnects. For the most part good players with 300ms latency can do the required dps/interrupts/healing/movement for hard modes fine, I was there when we did AQ40 on US Stormrage and most of us did that at 450ms+ latency and it was quite comparable to today's hardmodes. The problem comes in 25 mans when people DC - for most hardmodes you can't afford to have a single person DC because then you'll be short on the required dps and in a pure SA guild - DC's are always going to be an issue.

Look, im not gonna lie to you. Being a South African guild we do have our fair share of connection issues. Some nights being worse than others, Sometimes you'll have all the Durban based guys out because of heavy weather messing with their connections, Other nights youll have one or two guys with isolated issues and we normally try to have a few people on backup so that it doesnt effect the raid too much

That said though, Most nights are trouble free and most of our raiders are on unshaped ADSL accounts, so most of the time we don't even notice lag
