FOA is currently recruiting RAIDERS!

FOA has been around since day one of WoW release in the USA and we then moved to EU servers later on. We have proven over the last 5 years to be the best ZA WoW guild.

We are a mostly South African Horde Raiding Guild running on EU Laughing Skull (PVP server), we have cleared Icecrown HEROIC 10 (tribute to insdanity) and 25 man Heroic content up till faction champs. We are currently on Putricide in 10 man ICC and on Festergut with 25 man content. We are looking to recruit experienced players to suppliment our raiding pool for our push into the upcomming Lich King encounter. Applicants should be available to Raid at least 3 days per week, our current raiding days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays, however our raiding schedule may change depending on circumstance. Our raid times are normally 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm South African / Server Time (Depends on instance and goals).

Classes we are looking for at present are
1 x Hunter
1 x DPS Warrior
1 x Feral Druid
1 x Mage
1 x DK DPS
1 x Enhancement Shaman
1 x Heal Priest

Applicants should be knowledgable about their class and have experience in a 25 man raiding environment.
ADSL with a prepaid verizon account is highly recommended as this seems to be the best latecy connection on offer at present.
Epic Gear is not a requirement although it would count in your favour, we are prepared and able to gear-up players quickly provided they know their stuff and are dedicated.

Does that mean you have Iron Bound Proto drakes & Astral Walker (achievement dated pre toc) and have killed Anub 25 heroic?

Nope, FoA has not got Ironbound Drakes and does not have Astral Walker titles. They don't have Anub25hc nor Twins25hc achievement as per WoWProgress.

Ye that could have been worded better. We have cleared all 10 man HC Pre-ICC and we have cleared all 25 man content. We got Faction Champs 25 HC.

All the same, we looking for some lads. We have a good vibe in the guild and like progression kills. Saffers get first preferance, getting a german/swede to do Real-time execution mid-fight can be challanging.

Voltage, ask you mates to app on our forum, just mention to them you refered them so we can tie them up and I'll have a look.

I have been looking for a SA guild for a few years now, nice to finally find one ^_^

I have a Destructo Lock, Prot/Holy Pally, Resto/Bal Druid and will have a priest soon.

I'm currently on Scarshield Legion (a RP PvP realm) and I'm willing to change.

I used to be in the top guild on my realm - Destruction of Souls ( now known as Versed ) sadly I had iBurst while I was in that guild and had an average of 3000ms on every raid, which really sucked and due to a lag spike in Ulduar I was... no longer welcome xD

I do have ADSL now though and an average of 300ms to 600ms in raids.

A pity you guys left Stormrage US and moved to an EU server, not all of us are HARDCORE enough to fork out all over again for accounts and upgrades... but I wish you all the best, I enjoyed my time in FoA on STORMRAGE!

When was DoS or Versed ever at the top? Aftermath and Northrend Exposure have always been at the forefront.

You only just cleared Saurfang and you've yet to down Proffessor.

Be more accurate when you're trying to woo potential recruits.
 
Well here is one last night in FOA although i was not in the rid my one buddy lanning at my house was... they cleared icc 10 both wings up to prof putricide in 3 hours 12 minutes.. only wiping 4 times .. 1 on festergut 1 on rot a and 2 times on the prof.

so dont rely on these progress sites because they are not accurate

I watch these sites on a regular basis to see my guild's own progress in 10 man content. I have found these sites to be extremely accurate. The only down side is that they may take a few days to update as they pull their info from the Armory.

Mmm 1st 7 of ICC10 is already pretty easy farm mode. We take 3 x 10 man groups there every week and its pretty quick (not sure on the time but cant be allot more than 2 hours)
Wiped once during the run and it was on prof putricide, downed with 9 tries left.

25 man well for us easy farm mode till the proff atm. I guess thats a diff story as just so many more people who must move. Pretty sure he will go down 2night. Last wednesday was awefull on 25 with crazy server lag.
I think its a good thing that every don't just down all the bosses with ease. Can't wait for the new ones, wednesday I guess?

So to be precise, I was right. they haven't killed Proff and they have only recently cleared Saurfang.

Is that all 25man content cleared?
