Digital TV operator TopTV continues to limp along as it awaits a further report on its survival status, expected in the next few days.

It will be a sad day if TopTV close shop. I've been supporting them from day 1 on the R169 package. If it wasn't for the Discovery channels I would have cancelled ages ago.

Vodacom should buy them out and get that TV broadcasting license. And then get rugby out of DSTV's claws.

I'm all for TopTV, however I signed up on day one when they launched and I have to admit I very rarely watch it anymore since I've seen it all so many times, repeat after repeat after repeat, extremely annoying!!!

Only thing that really changes are they movies, with some new tv eps and programs here and there.

I'm sure if I stopped watching for a year and switch it on I might find some unseen eps for a month or so if I'm lucky.
