TopUP at Telkom

I've got capped last night. So I tried the topup option from Telkom.
Using my Standard Bank Mastercard all details are correct, but the site says
contact your Bank. Now today is still a holiday and the Bank is of no service,
and Telkom tells me the official hours they are open and says good bye.
So no Topup possible today, have to wait till tomorrow. I hope it will work

Easiest - Engen garage, axxess R70 per Gb - not the cheapest, though.

I've finally got it right, or say my daughter. So 1 GB topup works.
Forget Axxess no SAIX anymore cancelled it yesterday.
Why can't Telkom just put it on my Telefon account?
But anyhow it should be okay till the end of the month

I think it has to do with their fear of being ripped off.

Yes I know you have to pay in advance. But what can you do? Rippoff all the way.

The money that they would save by cutting out bank commission would EASILY make up for the one or two defaulters.

In any case I am sure that it would be a trivial task to work out user profiles

OK -- you have had a Telkom account for five years NEVER defaulted -- you get a five star rating -- you can have a ten gig top up.

OK -- you have had a telkom account for one year you always pay late -- only a ONE gig top up for you.

Telkom GET OFF your lazy butt and start pushing the envelope
