The devs have said that there are plans for an MMO version with an estimated release in 18-24 months. I haven't heard anything about LAN, etc... coming to this SP version.

edit: lol slow typer, and it will in all likelihood be a different game, set in the same world and probably using the same gameplay, but I very much doubt it will be this game + mp.

well I tried it last night I must say it is a LOT of fun..

so many of thing things remind me of diablo 1... I love it!

The town music... the town portal sound... the scroll sound...

One question though, Im on about lvl5 of the mine and was wondering if it looks the same ALL the way down...

And how many lvls down are there?

Every 10 or so lvls you get a new "Dungeon" that looks different.

First is the Mines, then like a forgotten forest temple, then a dwarven stronghold etc. etc. The maps are decently designed.

34 Levels in the story dungeon (iirc), and then there is an endless dungeon you can carry on in, but the problem is that items stop scaling after lvl 50, giving you big problems for facing later enemies. A patch is coming out soon so I'm not sure if that is going to change things or whether the endless dungeon is supposed to be impossible after a certain point.

bought it too, couldn't agree more... R160 is a few hours at the bar for me.

oh and if i'm not mistaken, the games devs have plans for multiplayer for this game and i'm quite sure i heard them saying something about this being a MMORPG soon.

will find the source and post, unless i have my lines crossed i'm almost certain that this is the case

Played this over the weekend. (only the "barbarian" class)

I must say I am impressed. For such a small game with such low system requirements it has hooked me.
