What is the reason for this site being down?
I honestly don't know...
Nomnom, I don't suppose you could enlighten us?
Yeah, it's down until further notice, the site was taken down cause apparently file sharing is illegal :wtf: we were unable to get the db from the ISP so we have to more or less start from scratch.. :erm:
You can pm me for a bf invite or you can use the dc server below V
Are you the founder? - Could you PM me the ISP that removed the site?
I think it's afrihost.

We were going to organize a sponsorship; but haven't had any response from the person pointed out to us. So let's see what happens I guess.
as in, provide local hosting?
impressivelocal hosting is pretty costly
It might have come to your attention that Diginova is not as active as it used to be. A lot has happened in the life of Diginova and we are happy for all the unique experiences we had with you (members).
Therefore, it is extremely sad for us to send out this message to inform you that this is the last email that you will receive from Diginova. We (the staff of Diginova) have decided to pull the plug and close Diginova. We have always strived to be a non-elitist torrent site, even though we have closed down to public sign ups as a last effort to get new life in Diginova. This was successful in the beginning, however later on it was also a failed attempt. The site usage has gone down to almost no-one being active on the site. We know that there are a lot of factors which might have caused this inactivity.
How it will go down... The site will remain active until the end of this year, so that members can say their last good bye. Then the site will close down for good. We might still keep the domain active for something else, but that we still have to think about.
Don't panic... If you were still using Diginova to get all your stuff from, then you can use www.newztown.co.za as an alternative. This is a new site, developed by two of our Admins (i.e. AlienUFO and Superman23), it is a Usenet indexer and is currently open for registrations, however they will close after a certain number of members. This site is however not affiliated with Diginova in anyway.
PS.: We are truly sorry for this terrible news, however we feel this is for the best.
Regards
DigiNova Staff
