Anyone have a problem with their torrent downloads lately? My download speed for torrents won't go over 20k on my 2mb line and they are being reset every couple of seconds. If I download the same file from the same site via direct download it sits at 180k. This has only been happening recently on my Axxess 50+50 account. Telkom and Axxess deny that they are managing the speeds and I test with two other ISP's with the same results. The line tests perfect. Any ideas?

Telkom will not be shaping ports at the exchange, so it's almost certainly a QoS/setting issue on your internal network, or an ISP issue.

MickeyD thanks. I did make one change a couple of weeks ago when this problem started. I limited upload seeding to 1k to see if it resolved my problem. I removed this setting and my speed is back to normal. interesting how easy it is to forget these little things.

Strange that this happens to some.
I limited my upload to 1k over a year ago and I get full 424 KB/sec 24/7/365 and average about 80 gigs a month of torrents.
4 mbit line with Telkom, 50+50 Gig capped with AH, never once since I've been with them (Jan 2014) had a problem.
