HI

I am using a telkom router/192 adsl connection/win xp/WebAfica ISP

Now I am new to the world of torrent,so I downloaded AZUREUS and I got the torrent file. When I open it , it stays on yellow and that says I may have NAt problems,

What does this mean,I connect using the dial up method I think it is called PPoE connection.

Please help

Nats a good question :D

Sorry I just could not resist that :p

ure ment to use PPPoE

NAT means network address translation... prehaps turn your firewall down a little, or setup static routes with your router.

For good torrent speeds you need to open up port 6881 on your router/firewall.
Not sure how you do that on the telkom router though, but there will be a setting somewhere in your router config.

Just make sure you're forwarding port 6881 TCP & UDP to your Azureus machine.
You'll still get the error messages, but you'll see that uploading works just fine.

dd1313 - How about using your FreeVPN Account? No forwarding of stupid ports etc. required when logged in with it.
