What torrent constitues as fast?
What do I look at? Seeders, leechers, what are the numbers that I want?

torrents are rather slow, seeders are people who have already downloaded the file and are uploading them the more seeders the faster the download will go

leechers are people who are sharing what they have and are downloading what you have (they leech, the bastards)

when searching torents always get high seeded torents if there is no seeders you will never finish the download no matter how many leechers there are

Seeds = people giving out the file
Leecher = people downloading it

Perhaps try riding the... e-mule? :p

torrents slow.. :rolleyes: wait till you experience real internet my son.. try having 2x24mb cable internet.. then tell me torrents are slow

It all depends on how many SEEDERS there are and how much they are giving (speed wise)

For example, if you have 10 seeders and they all giving full speed (that they can give) then YAY! But many seeders are leechers, get the file then limit their upload speed (especially in SA) then speeds are horribly slow.

I gave up on this!
Yes, there were some who did their 'bit' but too many didn't.
In SA, local torrents are just useless.

I generally look for at least 3 seeders. Anything below 3 = fail and anything above 3 = bonus.

yeah Doom you could if the fastest internet in the world if there's no seeders you're screwed
