SABnzbd I find the best, purely for its ability to unrar and then move to set folders depending on the category.

You also get nice mods which you can use with it, one which i use scans my tv directory and automatically downloads the latest one ( when available )

Gary didn't you find grabit freezing and all that? I pay for newsleecher now and it is far better now that they makes folders the same name as nzb.

The latest grabit was just freezing and it took me like 20 minutes sometimes to get a nzb going haha.

Nzb's kick torrent ass i reckon.

Killa, I don't bother with the SSL mode. So I wouldn't know. It works fine for me in the normal mode and I didn't like alt.binz when I tried it. So I'm gonna stick with grabit for now. Why do you need the SSL?

NZBs kick ass. Paying that $10 per month is well worth it.

the wasteful nature of torrents (huge overhead and an included .nfo of 10kB ending up to be 4mB because of block size) tuned me off from them. i feel you should only consider them when downloading obscure stuff you can't find a .nzb for, or you're really into maintaining a healthy ratio

Totally agreed, gave up torrents years ago and never looked back. For one I know if I need something in a flash, news server will give it to me in x amount of time.. no worries about seeders etc. And I don't mind paying 25 dolla at Astraweb for 180gb which doesn't expire.

But fair enough, if you looking for obsure stuff then use torrents.

If you are new don't use nzb's. No matter how easy everyone tells you it is, it's just irritating.

I have uncapped so don't care about uploads. I only use private trackers when I can't find what I want on bitsnoop so no worries about ratio.

Grabit does not handle SSL very well at all... mine crashes alot!

-1 Mine works quite well with Astraweb SSL, maybe something specific happening to you.
