I got a Toshiba Portege R500 with a cracked screen
was wondering what my options are if I wanna replace it?

I dont know how much Toshiba will charge but if you in jhb you can pickup the lcd from a company called laptop accessories.

I did a search for yu but there is 3 or so models and you need to strip the panel to get the correct p/n.
However rough pricing is R1300.00incl and just add R100.00 if you need it delivered.
The company i worked for used them alot and probably still do.
Speak with a friendly lady named Pamela for assistance.
Other option for you is to use the vga port but it wont be mobile though

For a faster response, i would recommend phoning, in my experience their email response is on the slow side. Please remember to try and get that part number from the screen as it will help them help you
