So.....how many GB's do all you uncapped mweb adsl users use (per month)....and what speed line do you have? Is your line hecticly shaped, semi shaped etc?

170015.6MB (or 170Gb so far this month). I'm on a 1Mb line. Torrents are usually shaped in the business day, but gaming etc seems to still be good with pings to SWTOR averaging about 200-300ms.

I can't be happier with my account with Mweb. As a comparison, I did 257638.3MB (or 257GB in March)

Webafrica has a wobbly when I use 2 gigs in a day! They start sending out a memo saying that perhaps I should consider upgrading my account ( how do you upgrade an uncapped acc?) and if I continue this abuse LOL, they may terminate my contract! I usually use about 20 gigs.

BUT, because of various external influences ie shaping, traffic congestion etc etc.. this may not be entirely possible as indicated.

That said, many have had near perfect months...

Signed up with Mweb on the 16th. Did 73000MB (up/down). Was higher than I would have done but I had some 20GB of backups to restore from a server. Doubt I'll see 100GB this month.

think i had 80 once on my 384, think i was running newshost most of the day and a few hours at night gaming.

On direct dls i get about 43kb/s stable but I find it a bit boring looking for things to download
