Totally Clueless - Need Skype Help.

Hi

I need help please! I have no idea what I am doing but this is what I want:

I want to use my phone (with Skype) to make and receive cheaper calls in SA and internationally.... and my questions are:

1. is sykpe the best platform to make calls?
2. which phone do I need which does not cost the earth?
3. how much are the calls in SA and internationally? (i have ASDL)
4. what are the total call costs - only internet time on ASDL?

Skype is not the best platform, but its what everyone uses, so there will be a lot more help available.

The Skype website will have calls cost info. Bandwidth costs are negligible.

If you are mainly wanting the service for ZA calls - go with the Closer packages from Telkom rather and save yourself the hassle.
