Toyota Auris

Good car but too overpriced, then again not as overpriced as VWs and no where near as boring. OMG how boring they are :sick:
If you want a good deal look further east - Hyundai, Kia and Chev (rebadged Daewoos) offer better value for money and they are more fun.
Someone mentioned Cerato and Cruze - they are excellent alernatives. The i30/accent is also very good.
 
When i thought of buying 1 i spoke to a friend who works at a toyota dealership and he told me the build quality of the Auris is crap! Rather look for a RunX. But finding a runx in good condition with low kms is near impossible.

Rouxenator, your lack of objectivity is sad. How can you say that the car that is marketed directly against a VW and priced HIGHER than a VW is not as overpriced as a VW? :rolleyes:

Easy - you get much more from the Toyota - so the bang for your buck value is higher.
My lack of objectivity might be sad, but my vigorous hate of VW is commendable.
 
No, it is sad when a person allows objectivity to fall by the wayside in a pathetic attempt to prove an unprovable point.

There is nothing commendable about hatred, no matter where it is directed.

Now how is that for objectivity ? A lot more VWs are sold than Toyotas so VWs are a lot more boring than Toyotas.
On that point, there is nothing boring about, say, a Hilux. It is so exciting that VW is only now starting to try and imitate it.
I have proven time and time again how dumb VWs are. Look through this sub forum and you will see.
 
Rouxenator may I respectfully request that you adjourn to the photographic section or current affairs, where your knowledge is possibly a little more appreciated. You are talking your usual bollocks and you know it!
