If you have his number from caller ID then phone telkom and ask to have a service enabled like voicemail or something and then give the dudes phone number to the telkom person and they will ask: Are mr bob smith?. Hang up and do a search for bob smith on the whitepages and find out where he lives. Then go over to his place and kill him.

Probaby bought the white/yellow pages as a digital file from Telkom Directory Services and then created a query across the database.

Firefly - Have you ever dealt with Preventative Computer Maintenance? 'cos their number is one away from the culprit. (5425 instead of 5424) Sometimes companies have multiple numbers but only list one...

Telkom will have details for the owner of the phone line.

Got it! Public Phone.I phoned telkoms fault report lines and told them the number from Preventitive Computer Maintanance and they said it was a residentual number but disconected so i whent for the number i wanted to trace and the kind lady from Telkom told me that was a Public Telephone.Sometimes it pays to act stupid with them Now i feel much better.

Just to play devils advocate here, anybody ever think that Mr FireFly (Who seems joined up only for this thread) could be that 'weird' guy and is trying to get the whole MyADSL community to harass some innocent/unknowing person.
