Yo,

What features on your fully loaded 5er do you miss on this Grand Creta?

The Blind Spot Monitor always gave me extra peace of mind … but I had that on my Volkswagen Polo too. Now I have to twist in my seat like a savage again lol. The Hyundai does have massive mirrors so I’m not actually sure how big the blind spot is …. but will experiment. Thank goodness the Hyundai has automatic headlights, that would have been a bridge too far. But hey, went to a restaurant the other day and pulled up a far rougher hill than I’d have tried with my BMW and parked over a tree root in the dirt … score one for ride height. When I upgrade to a proper 4x4 SUV one day it’s gonna be so much more fun.

That is a LOT of car for under R400K. It has over R200 000 worth of options fitted, including some really rare ones (adaptive cruise control, wireless Car Play, Harman Kardon speakers, powered tailgate, 360-degree cameras, Blind Spot Monitor, Remote Parking … and the list goes on). Definitely worth trying it out, that engine is a powerful dream, don’t get fooled by it not being a pov-spec 520D:
